Christmas Pics!

These are Christmas pictures. This top one is a picture with our family and Grandpa & Grandma Orme on Christmas. We get the privilege to see both grandparents on Christmas Day.
This is "Snowflake"- our Christmas kitty. This was everyone's favorite Christmas present. It continues to be a highlight at our house. Only mom & dad can't wait for it to be better weather so it can go outside.

This is a family tradition... waiting on the stairs until dad says that it is okay to come down. As you can tell my kids are having a hard time containing all their excitement. You can also see the traps that are set up around our house (yarn, pots & pans etc)

This was our beautiful Christmas Eve dinner party. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for inviting us over. We ate dinner, played games, had a program and opened Christmas PJ's.

Christmas Ballerinas

Aubrielle is in the light pink leotard (back left) and McKenzie is in the purple leotard (back right). We love their dance and gymnastic classes.

Loving Home Depot

We went to Colorado and played with my sister last weekend. We had a great time. One of the fun things we did was go to Home Depot and make wooden wagons. Everyone loved it.

I'll I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

Here's the story behind this one:
We were all loaded in the car to go to Colorado for my nieces baptism. We made one stop at the library to get some books on CD. While Chris was checking out a book, Aubrielle tells me that her tooth is loose and it is really starting to hurt. I asked her if she wanted me to pull it out. She didn't say yes or no so I crawled back into the back seat of our Yukon and started wrestling Aubrielle to pull out her tooth. With a lot of kicking and screaming and crying the tooth came out. I had to buy her a pack of gum for all the trouble I caused her... but now she can sing her Christmas song. She will thank me later.

Proud Moments!!

Braden received a gold medal in his science fair. His project was extracting DNA and seeing it with the naked eye.

Braden also received his Bear Award in cubscouts. He received this award after 4 months of being in the bear den. Good job Braden! (Yes! My calling is in cubscouts- that's why I get to wear that COOL shirt.)

My cute nieces & nephew

Eating lunch with my kids and my nieces and nephew that live next door. Between the two families we have 10 kids under the age of 9. That's a whole lot of craziness in one room- but so fun for us.

Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving- the day our kids look forward to and the day mom and dad dread.

Kenzie & Katelyn were excited about their pumpkins- you just cannot tell from their pictures.

Annual Orme Halloween PARTY

Every year Grandpa and Grandma Orme throw a big Halloween party. It involves costumes, food, games, and dancing. My kids love Grandma's parties! Here are pictures of all the Orme grandkids.

McKenzie's 6th B-Day

McKenzie chose to go to her favorite place for B-day dinner- Golden Corral. This happens to be all of my kid's favorite place.

Chris made McKenzie this book shelf. It is on her wall next to her bed so she can read all nap. She loves it.

She had a friend party this year and enjoyed every minute of it.

The cake... I bake it and make the frosting and Chris decorates it. He always does a great job despite all his complaining.

Katelyn's Preschool Field Trip

Katelyn and her preschool went to Black Island Farms for a fall field trip. They had so much fun.

Paige loved the field trip too!

It was such a fabulous FALL event!

Our Little Jaunt to Juab County

For fall recess we took the kids to Juab County to gather intel for Braden's school report. The fall colors were beautiful in the Mt. Nebo Loop.

We listened to general conference in our trailer. (Yes! We had reception, albeit somewhat fuzzy, in the mountains.)

The kids enjoyed playing in the sand at Little Sahara recreation area.

Chris even got in some fishing!

We stayed warm in our trailer.

And Amber got to go on a hike to Paul Bunyan's Woodpile, which is located somewhere south of Eureka. It ended up being a really fun hike!

Family Picture Time

Kids are so cooperative when it comes to pictures... NOT! They never seem to turn out exactly as I hope for.

Growing Butterflies

The coolest present ever... at Target they sell a kit with a cage and a voucher for 5 caterpillars. They mail you the caterpillars and you watch them grow and make chrysalids and then move the chrysalids into a cage and they come out as butterflies. These are pictures of my kids letting their butterflies go.

Stewart Falls

I think EVERYONE in Utah had the same idea, "Let's go hike Stewart Falls on Labor Day". Crowded- but beautiful! I love the mountains.

KATELYN'S 4th B-DAY

Katelyn just wanted a Pinata for her B-Day!! I guess lots of candy is all that matters to a 4 year old.
