Braden has always had large tonsils and when our neighbor had such success with their son and his surgery, Chris and I decided it was time for Braden to get them out. Much to Braden's surprise, he went to the
ENT doctor on Tuesday to consult about removing them and the next morning was getting them out at
LDS hospital. These are the happy, courageous before pictures.
The not so happy AFTER pictures. Braden was a little "annoyed" coming out of
anesthesia. He wanted to get out of the recovery room as soon as he started to wake up. However, to his dismay, he had to wait for a same day surgery room to open up.
Braden had a successful surgery and the doctor said Braden's tonsils were some of the worst that he has seen- he even sent them to pathology. His
recovery time went smooth and he was able to perform in his school play a day later.
