Sledding on New Years Day

This is my favorite memory of winter activities when I was growing up- sledding behind the truck. It's great... no work to get up a hill just straight sledding fun. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Orme for a fun weekend... sledding, ice skating and swimming in the hot tub!
In the truck is Grandma Orme, Aunt Amy, Paige and Aubrielle.
Now Paige is showing her Mom how to do it right.
All my kids loved it and even all their cousins. I think McKenzie went around the most.

Let's see it in action

Here we are. The previous photos in action. Sometimes it is funnier to see the videos.

New Years Eve Party

New Years Eve was great. We went to a movie at the theater. After we partied with all the Orme side- eating dinner, making crafts, playing games and sleeping over.
Fondue dessert is so yummy and so messy. Chocolate, carmel, fruit, candy, donuts. What could be better? At least that's what all these folks think.

Taylor's 1st Christmas

On Christmas Grandpa and Grandma Hintze were able to hold Taylor. This is the first time Taylor was held by anyone except the nurses and us. Everyone is excited for Taylor to get big and come home.

Christmas Pictures

I love Christmas! I thought it was fun when I was a kid but it is so much better as a Mom. I just can't wait for Christmas and wish it would never have to end when it is here.

Taylor wearing clothes

This was taken December 26th. She is looking big and healthy- at least her Mom thinks that she is geting big. She is 4lbs 2 oz. today. She is taking a bottle but doesn't always finish her 1 oz. of milk. In that case, they put the leftovers through her tube. Taylor still breathes quickly and will most likely come home on oxygen. We are anxiously waiting her arrival.

Some of my favorite pics of Taylor

Look how comfortable she looks in her isolette. It makes me want to squeeze her.
Taylor's three fingers fit around the small part of Chris' pinky.
This has been are second home for the last two months.
